MakeitPDF is an online PDF platform with 35+ tools for editing, converting, organising, signing, protecting, and AI-processing PDF files. Everything runs in your browser — no software to install, no account required to start.
Yes. All 35+ tools are available for free. Without an account you can run 2 tasks per day (10 MB max file size). Creating a free account increases that to 5 tasks per day and 20 MB. No credit card is needed for the free plan.
No. You can use most tools immediately without signing up. Creating a free account gives you a higher daily task limit, larger file size support, and access to the AI Summarize tool (1 use per month on the free plan).
There are three plans:
Free ($0) — 5 tasks/day, up to 25 files per task, 20 MB max file size, 1 AI chat and 1 AI translation per month (up to 10 pages).
Pro (from $3.60/month) — 500 tasks/day, up to 100 files per task, 500 MB max file size, 500 AI chats and 50 AI translations per month (up to 50 pages each), 24-hour file retention, no badge links in output.
Business (from $9.00/month) — Unlimited tasks, unlimited files on standard tools, 2 GB max file size, unlimited AI chats, 200 AI translations per month (up to 200 pages each), 72-hour file retention, priority support.
File size limits depend on your plan: 10 MB without an account, 20 MB on the Free plan, 500 MB on Pro, and 2 GB on Business.
Files are automatically deleted after processing. On the Free plan files are removed within 1 hour of upload. Pro plan files are retained for 24 hours so you can re-download your result. Business plan files are retained for 72 hours.
Yes. All file transfers use HTTPS encryption. Your files are processed solely for the task you requested and are never shared with third parties. Files are deleted automatically on schedule. See our Security page for full details.
The primary input format is PDF. Conversion tools also accept: Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .csv), PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx), images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF), and HTML files. Output formats include PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG, and plain text depending on the tool.
We currently offer two AI tools, available on every plan. AI Summarize & Chat generates a concise summary of any PDF and lets you ask questions about the document (1 use/month on Free, 500/month on Pro, unlimited on Business). AI Translate PDF translates documents into other languages while preserving layout — 1 translation per month on Free (up to 10 pages), 50 on Pro (up to 50 pages) and 200 on Business (up to 200 pages). AI tools accept files up to 10 MB on Free, 50 MB on Pro and 100 MB on Business.
Yes. You can cancel your Pro or Business subscription at any time from your account dashboard. After cancellation your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, then your account reverts to the Free plan.
Refund requests may be considered within 7 days of the initial purchase at our sole discretion. Renewals and annual plan payments after the initial period are generally non-refundable. Please contact support@makeitpdf.com if you have a billing issue.
