What types of form fields can be filled?
The tool supports text fields, checkboxes, and radio button groups — the field types found in standard PDF forms. The sidebar lists every field detected in your document.
My PDF has no form fields. Can I still add text and sign it?
Yes. Use the Text tool to click anywhere on the page and type, or use the Sign tool to place your signature. These work on any PDF — no interactive form fields are required.
How do I add my signature?
Click the Sign button in the toolbar. Draw your signature on the canvas, type your name in a handwriting font, or upload a saved image. Then click on the page to place it. You can resize, drag, and recolor it before downloading.
Are the fields locked after downloading?
Yes. The downloaded PDF is flattened — your entries, annotations, and signature are merged into the page as permanent content that cannot be edited or removed.
Can I choose the ink colour for my entries?
Yes. Use the colour swatches in the toolbar to switch between black and blue ink. The selected colour applies to form field entries when you download. For placed text and signatures, choose a colour directly from the sub-panel controls.
