By accessing or using MakeitPDF ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

MakeitPDF is a browser-based platform offering 36 online tools for processing PDF files, including organising, editing, converting, signing, protecting, and AI-powered document processing. The Service is provided on a subscription basis (Free, Pro, Business) as described on the Pricing page.

2. Account Registration

Some features require an account. When you register, you must provide a valid email address and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

MakeitPDF offers the following paid plans in addition to the free tier:

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid plan features until that date, after which your account reverts to the Free plan. We do not pro-rate partial billing periods.

5. Refund Policy

Refund requests may be considered at our sole discretion within 7 days of an initial purchase. Subscription renewals and annual plan charges beyond the first billing period are generally non-refundable. To request a refund, email support@makeitpdf.com with your account email and reason for the request.

7. Your Files and Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all files you upload and the documents you produce using the Service. MakeitPDF does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We only process your files to carry out the task you request, and files are deleted automatically as described in our Security and Privacy Policy pages.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily affects availability. See our SLA page for details on uptime targets and support response times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakeitPDF is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or business interruption. Our total liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or by a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
